| The fullness of space | ||||
|
EVERYTHING is crowded up close in this small mandala. No room for anything more. Barely the smallest gaps for the blackness of space to infiltrate between these stars and planets and moons. There’s safety in numbers perhaps for this cluster huddled together against the greater void that lies beyond its golden circle.

Is space full or empty? It seems to depend on how you measure it, what you think it is, who you are. As scientists juggle with the complexities and paradoxes of dark matter, the returning spectre of the ether, black holes and other mysterious concoctions of their computerised minds, the mystics have always known the answers, knowing reality, as they do, directly, from the inside. |
