  Many paths, one peak
ENTER the mystic’s mountain by whichever gate you wish: Sufi, Buddhist, Kabbalistic, Shamanic or one of entirely your own devising. All will lead, little by little, past the lavish palaces on the grassy lowlands, where many have settled for a lifetime, up into the dense forest, where the path grows steeper, and, eventually, out onto the rocky mountainside. Here, as the track narrows and passes perilously between boulders, the mystic traveller may start to enjoy the view, both down towards the hljklhjk

world he has left behind and upwards towards the summit. Beacons lit by previous climbers appear to guide him as his path spirals up into the snowy heights.

Once at the top, he will see that every path has passed through the same terrain to converge at the exact same point at which he is now standing. So how to say that one path is better than another?
