  Hidden harmony
IN PLACES, the delicate filigree of this mandala fades almost invisibly into its surroundings. Like a fabulously wrought spider’s web that is only visible, dazzlingly picked out in dewdrops, when the light suddenly catches its gossamer fibres, it is half here, half not, depending on our vantage point.

Similar is the harmony that unites and underlies all things in creation; sometimes we glimpse it for a moment, caught in all its fugitive beauty, resplendent in the morning sun as we walk through the park, then it is gone again, lost in shadow and dense undergrowth. It is a subtle harmony that hides from us until we are receptive enough to see it, but it is always magical when we do.
